Often described as playful, witty and smart, Dinah Dufton’s work is project-based and so differs from collection to collection. But it builds on earlier skills and ideas while always looking fresh and deceptively simple.
From original paintings and prints using typography to map hyperreal figures through to a series of works with toys inspired by her son, and now a return to earlier personal interests in codes, mechanical intervention, puzzles and mazes.
Exhibiting internationally since 2000, her work has been commissioned by the BBC and other public organisations and is in many private collections.
Dinah & Co jewellery and design are new additions that are becoming estabished in their own right.
