Kate Osborne studied textile design in the 1970s and worked in the industry for 20 years, including five years spent in the States, where her paintings sold in galleries in Santa Fe and Los Angeles.
She has lived in Brighton for the past 28 years, moving from illustration and textile design to painting, and now works very freely in watercolour. Whether painting florals, pigs or musicians, she brings a rich sense of colour and energy to the work.
Exhibitions include the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Society of Wildlife Artists, Brighton’s Artists Open Houses, and galleries across the UK.
